Frequently asked questions
Does TidyDay upload my photos?
No. Photo discovery, thumbnails, review choices and similarity analysis happen on your iPhone. TidyDay does not upload your photos, videos or analysis results.
When does TidyDay delete a photo?
Choosing Let go only marks the item locally. Before deletion, TidyDay shows everything you marked so you can restore items. Deletion is requested only after your separate approval, followed by Apple’s system confirmation.
Can I recover a deleted photo?
Open the Photos app and check Albums → Recently Deleted. Recovery availability and retention are controlled by Apple Photos. TidyDay cannot restore an item after Photos permanently removes it.
Why can’t TidyDay see all my photos?
You may have granted limited Photos access. Open Settings → Apps → TidyDay → Photos to review the permission or select more photos. Items stored only in iCloud may also need to download before they can be displayed.
Can I stop and continue later?
Yes. TidyDay keeps the active tidy locally so you can return without losing your progress. Changes to the Photos library may cause unavailable items to be safely removed from the active queue.
How do I restore my subscription?
Choose Restore Purchases on the subscription page and use the Apple Account that holds the subscription. A verified active subscription or trial unlocks all tidies.
How do I cancel TidyDay Premium?
Manage or cancel the subscription in your Apple Account’s App Store subscription settings. Deleting TidyDay does not cancel an active subscription.
How do reminders work?
Optional reminders are local notifications scheduled on your iPhone. You can change the rhythm in TidyDay or disable notification access in iOS Settings.
Can I transfer tidy history to another iPhone?
TidyDay has no account or cloud synchronisation for tidy history. Your subscription can be restored through Apple, but locally stored progress and history may not transfer to another device.
