TidyDay does not require an account. Your photos and individual review choices stay on your iPhone.
Photos access
TidyDay asks for read and write access to your Photos library only after you choose to begin using your own photos. If you grant limited access, TidyDay can work only with the items you select. You can change Photos access at any time in iOS Settings.
On-device photo processing
Photo discovery, thumbnails, review choices and similarity analysis are processed locally on your iPhone. TidyDay does not upload your photos, videos, thumbnails, filenames, Photos identifiers, location data, Vision analysis results or the choices you make about individual items.
Some photos may need to be downloaded by Apple Photos from iCloud before they can be displayed or analysed. That transfer is handled by Apple under your iCloud settings and Apple’s terms; TidyDay does not receive a copy.
Deletion
Choosing Let go marks an item only inside the current local tidy. You can review and restore marked items before proceeding. TidyDay requests deletion only after your separate approval, and Apple Photos then presents its own system confirmation. Deleted items may remain in the Photos app’s Recently Deleted album according to your Photos settings.
Information kept on your device
TidyDay stores app preferences, onboarding state, tidy progress, completed-tidy summaries, reminder settings and subscription status locally as needed to provide the app. Uninstalling the app removes its local app data, subject to iOS and backup behaviour. Removing TidyDay does not delete photos from your library.
Subscriptions
Subscriptions are purchased, verified, renewed and restored through Apple’s App Store and StoreKit. TidyDay checks the verified entitlement needed to unlock tidies but does not receive or store your payment-card details. Apple processes purchase and subscription information under its own privacy policy.
Reminders
If you enable reminders, TidyDay schedules local notifications on your iPhone. Reminder preferences and the resulting notifications remain local. You can disable them in TidyDay or in iOS Settings.
Website and support
Hosting providers may process technical information required to deliver and secure the website. If you email support, the information you provide is used to respond to and follow up your enquiry.
