To live in this world you must be able to do three things: to love what is mortal; to hold it against your bones knowing your own life depends on it; and, when the time comes to let it go, to let it go.

This is my attempt of shooting one photo for every day of the year or you may call it a Photo365 project. I have been thinking about this for a while but never really found the right time to start. Today, I realized that today is just as good as any, even though it´s february 19 2013 and there is nothing special about that. In order to make it a little more interesting I have decided to limit the pictures to only black and white squares.
The first shot is from the car, in a way symbolizing the road that lies ahead. Can´t wait to see what tomorrow brings.
Shooting film forces you to slow down and learn the relationship between shutter speed, aperture and ISO. You spend time fine tuning focus and thinking about composition. Nothing is more sweet than the sound of the shutter going of, when you realize that you have been holding your breath for way to long. You take one shot, advance to the next frame and walk away without even thinking about having a look at the non-existing lcd screen. A great feeling!
I don´t really think. I just walk.

My name is Messi. I am a mixed breed as my mother is a King Poodle and my father is a Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever. As of this writing I am one year old and full of life. I love to run and play with other dogs. My life is wonderful, I do nothing but play, eat, sleep and sit on the lap sometimes.
A dog is the only thing on earth that loves you more than he loves himself.

To the complaint: "There are no people in these photographs". I respond, "There are always two people: the photographer and the viewer."
